Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to Tawzan, including tawzan.com, Desktop, extensions, and AI features.

Effective date: August 22, 2026

Last updated: August 22, 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tawzan, including tawzan.com, Tawzan Desktop, browser extensions, artificial-intelligence features, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Tawzan is an unincorporated business operated under the “Tawzan” name. References to “Tawzan,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in these Terms refer to the operator of the Tawzan Services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. About Tawzan

Tawzan provides AI-powered productivity tools, which may include dictation, Smart Dictation, Prompt Engineer, Voice to Code, AI chat/playground features, application-assistance tools, desktop software, browser extensions, and related functionality.

Features may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued as the Services evolve.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Services.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.

You must provide accurate account information and promptly update it when necessary.

You may not share, sell, transfer, or misuse an account in a way that violates these Terms.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@tawzan.com.

3. 7-Day Tawzan Pro Trial

Eligible users may receive a 7-day Tawzan Pro trial.

No credit card is required to begin the trial.

During an active trial, eligible users receive access to Tawzan Pro functionality made available as part of the trial.

A trial may generally be used only once per eligible account.

Trial eligibility is determined by Tawzan and may be restricted where we reasonably believe a user is attempting to create duplicate accounts or otherwise circumvent trial limitations.

Unless you purchase Tawzan Pro, Pro access ends when the trial period expires and the account returns to the functionality available under Tawzan’s then-current free offering.

Starting a trial does not automatically enroll you in a paid subscription and does not by itself authorize Tawzan to charge you.

4. Paid Subscriptions

Tawzan currently offers paid subscription options that may include:

  • Tawzan Pro Monthly — $24.99 USD per month
  • Tawzan Pro Yearly — $250 USD per year

Prices displayed during checkout control if they differ from prices stated in these Terms.

Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.

Paid subscriptions are processed through our payment provider.

When you purchase a subscription, you authorize the applicable subscription charge and recurring renewal charges until the subscription is cancelled.

We may change subscription prices in the future. Where required, users will receive notice before new pricing applies to an existing subscription.

5. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions may automatically renew for the applicable billing period until cancelled.

You may manage or cancel an eligible subscription through the account-management or billing tools provided by Tawzan and its payment provider.

Cancellation does not necessarily remove access immediately. Where applicable, access may continue through the end of the already-paid billing period.

Cancellation does not restart or restore a previously used free trial.

6. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, Tawzan subscription fees and other payments are generally non-refundable. Because eligible users may use Tawzan Pro for 7 days without providing a payment method, users are encouraged to evaluate the Services before purchasing a subscription.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged more than once, or experienced another billing error, contact billing@tawzan.com. Tawzan may issue refunds or credits at its discretion where appropriate. Nothing in this policy limits any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

7. Tawzan Lifetime Access

Certain users may have received Lifetime access through an authorized Tawzan promotion, marketplace, partner, or redemption program.

Valid Lifetime access provides the level of access specified by the applicable offer, subject to these Terms.

“Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the applicable Tawzan product/service offering and does not guarantee that every current or future Tawzan feature will be included indefinitely.

Fraudulent, unauthorized, refunded, reversed, or otherwise invalid Lifetime redemptions may be revoked.

8. AI-Generated Content

Tawzan uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to generate, transform, transcribe, summarize, rewrite, or produce content.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate for a particular purpose, outdated, unexpected, or similar to content generated for other users.

You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on, publishing, executing, submitting, or distributing it.

Tawzan does not guarantee that AI output is accurate, error-free, unique, or suitable for professional, legal, medical, financial, security-critical, or other high-risk use.

9. Voice to Code

Voice to Code can convert spoken instructions into software code.

Generated code may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, incorrect dependencies, insecure practices, or unintended behavior.

You are responsible for reviewing and testing generated code before using it.

Tawzan does not guarantee generated code will compile, execute, meet security requirements, or be suitable for production deployment.

Users should not execute unfamiliar generated code without appropriate review.

10. Dictation and Smart Dictation

Tawzan may process audio you provide for transcription, speaker filtering, formatting, cleanup, or related functionality.

Smart Dictation may attempt to identify or prioritize the enrolled user’s speech and filter surrounding conversations or unrelated content.

No speech-recognition, speaker-recognition, or contextual-filtering system is perfect.

You are responsible for reviewing transcripts before relying on them.

Privacy practices relating to audio, voice profiles, and personal information are described in the Tawzan Privacy Policy.

11. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Tawzan, subject to any rights necessary for Tawzan to operate the Services.

You grant Tawzan the limited rights necessary to receive, process, transmit, transform, store, or otherwise handle your content solely as needed to provide, secure, maintain, or improve the Services, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to provide content that you submit to the Services.

12. Intellectual Property

Tawzan and its licensors retain all rights in the Services, including software, interfaces, designs, branding, logos, documentation, and other proprietary materials, excluding user-owned content.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of Tawzan’s intellectual property.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, distribute, or exploit Tawzan’s proprietary Services except as permitted by law or expressly authorized by Tawzan.

13. Acceptable Use

You may not use Tawzan to:

  • violate applicable law
  • infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights
  • distribute malware or malicious code
  • gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • facilitate fraud, phishing, impersonation, or deception
  • interfere with Tawzan’s infrastructure or security
  • bypass account, subscription, usage, or trial restrictions
  • scrape or abuse the Services at unreasonable scale
  • resell access without authorization
  • use the Services in a manner intended to harm Tawzan, its users, or third parties

We may restrict or terminate accounts reasonably believed to be engaged in abusive or prohibited activity.

14. Desktop Software and Browser Extensions

Tawzan may provide downloadable desktop software and browser extensions.

You are responsible for installing software from official Tawzan distribution channels and maintaining appropriate device permissions and security settings.

Some functionality may require operating-system permissions, including microphone or Accessibility permissions.

We may release updates, patches, or replacement versions of Tawzan software.

15. Third-Party Services

Tawzan relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers for portions of the Services, such as hosting, authentication, databases, AI processing, payment processing, and other technical operations.

Third-party outages, restrictions, changes, or failures may affect Tawzan.

Your use of certain third-party functionality may also be governed by the applicable third party’s terms.

16. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at tawzan.com/privacy.

By using Tawzan, you acknowledge the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

17. Service Availability

We work to provide reliable Services, but Tawzan is provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific uptime, permanent availability of any particular feature, or compatibility with every device, browser, operating system, website, or third-party service.

We may perform maintenance, change features, impose reasonable usage limits, or suspend portions of the Services when necessary.

18. Beta and Experimental Features

Some Tawzan functionality may be labeled beta, preview, experimental, or otherwise unfinished.

Such features may contain errors, change substantially, have limited support, or be discontinued.

You use beta or experimental functionality with an understanding of those limitations.

19. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Tawzan at any time.

Tawzan may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:

  • violation of these Terms
  • fraud or abuse
  • security risk
  • legal requirements
  • nonpayment
  • misuse of infrastructure
  • actions that threaten Tawzan or other users

Where practical and appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Termination does not eliminate obligations that by their nature should survive termination.

20. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TAWZAN DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TAWZAN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Tawzan evolves.

The updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date.

Where legally required or where changes are materially significant, additional notice may be provided.

Continued use of Tawzan after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

23. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California in a venue having appropriate jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available to consumers that cannot legally be waived.
